Job Summary:

Are you seeking an opportunity where you can have a major impact at a small midwestern theological seminary reinventing itself and poised for growth? We have that opportunity for you!  Nashotah House Theological Seminary, located on a beautiful rural campus in Nashotah, Wisconsin, has an opening for a hands-on individual to develop, solicit, and steward a substantial portfolio of Nashotah House major donors. The Senior Advancement Officer also creates and executes strategies to increase student leads, nurture those leads and convert them to enrolled students.  The Senior Advancement Officer participates with other seminary staff and leaders to develop and maintain relationships with bishops, alumni and other Episcopal and Anglican bodies and ecumenical partners who can be helpful in identifying prospects for Nashotah House development and recruitment efforts. They will also be knowledgeable about all Nashotah House programs, our institutional strategies for vocational formation, and the unique community experience offered in both Residential and Hybrid-Distance models.

The person in this role will:
Solicit gifts to increase revenue
Maintain a substantial portfolio of major donor relationships
Document donor pipeline information
Leverage existing relationships to build new donor streams for the House
Propose and execute strategies to meet recruitment goals for new students
Coordinate with the Admissions Counselor to ensure a robust admissions process
Organize attendance of Nashotah House staff at important events
Build relationships with key ecclesiastical and secular organizations

We are looking for someone with the following:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or other advanced degree preferred
At least three years of related experience in non-profit fundraising, sales, or recruitment
Superior written, verbal, and public communication skills
Familiarity with the terminology and discernment/ordination processes of the Episcopal Church and/or other Anglican Communion jurisdictions.
