About

The governing bodies of the Anglican Church in North America will be gathering in Vancouver, Canada from June 22-26, 2015. This includes the Executive Committee, the Provincial Council, and the College of Bishops. The Provincial Council meeting is open to the public. All are invited to attend the reception and worship service at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Wednesday evening, June 24th. 2015.

An Overview of the Schedule for June 22-26, 2015

Accomodations

We will be meeting and staying on the campus of the University of British Columbia.

The Gage Suites [($129-$149 CA) ($103-$119 US)] and West Coast Suites [($179 CA) ($142 US)] are the most conveniently located lodging options relative to the meeting facilities. The Marine Drive Suites [($58-$129 CA) ($46-$103US)] are a longer walk from the meeting facilities but have room options that are less expensive.

The deadline for making room reservations is May 21, 2015. Rooms cannot be guaranteed after this date.

Meeting Space

The Executive Committee Meeting and the College of Bishops Meeting will take place in the Gage Center.

The Provincial Council Meeting will be held in the newly built student union building called 'The Nest.'

Visitors to the Provincial Council will be accomodated in the meeting room as space allows. Visitors are most welcome, but do not have voice or vote during the meeting.


Travel

Most delegates will be flying into Vancouver International Airport.

Transportation from the Vancouver International Airport to the campus of the University of British Columbia is not provided, but can be arranged via taxi for $35.00 ($29 US).

For citizens of the United States, a valid Passport is required in order to enter Canada.
